In 2007, Karen Mercer established a community organization providing psychotherapy services in Baltimore County and surrounding areas. In 2016, Ms. Mercer and Dr. Karyn Felder Moore recognized a need to assist recent Pastoral Counselor and graduate level interns interested in building a private practice while earning clinical hours and supervision required for full licensure. This recognition led to a partnership between Karen and Karyn and the birth of A Renewed Mind Behavioral Health Center.
